My firm’s annual firm trip is back on this year after been put on hold for the last couple of years thanks to the “lovely” pandemic.
We’re heading off to Bangkok for 3 days and 2 nights and our annual dinner & dance will be held there too. Given the size of our firm, we actually split into two groups with one group going on Friday and coming back on Sunday and the other group goes up on Saturday and coming back on Monday. The dinner & dance will be held on Saturday evening.
Given the short trip, I usually just use a carry on bag (but I’ll check it) and then I’ll just bring along a spare bag that I can use as a carry on on the trip back in the event I do a little bit too much shopping hahaha.
Here’s everything that’s going into my suitcase:

- Clothes
- Intimates and socks
- Pjs and room hangout outfit
- Sneakers
- Toiletries (will go into detail below)
- Tech (will go into detail below)
- Travel luggage scale
- Foldable duffle bag (in case I need a carry on bag)
- Mini umbrella
- Packable raincoat from Uniqlo
- Packable backpack (to carry my shopping lol)
- Foldable shopping bag (for my shopping too)
- Sunscreen (full size because I’m sharing it with my roommates)
For the clothes, I just brought some crop pants, tees, jeans, a nice blouse, pjs, a pair of shorts and tee to wear when hanging out in the room and of course my intimates and socks. I had originally planned to only have one pair of sneakers for the entire trip (yes, even for my dinner & dance because that’s how I roll lol), but the weather forecast says rain the whole time we’re there so I’m bring a second pair of sneakers as well as a raincoat and umbrella.
Here’s my tech pouch:

Don’t really need to bring a lot of tech with me so it’s a smallish pouch. Here are the contents

- Elecom Borsa gadget pouch (M) – link
- Foldable bluetooth keyboard – link
- Powered 4 USB hub – I got this in Bangkok on an earlier firm trip at a 7-11
- USB – USB C cable
- USB – USB C cable (always like to have a spare)
- 3-in-1 Charger – link
- USB to three charging cable (USB mini, USB C and lightening)
I’m also bringing a wireless power bank for my phone and a portable charger for my Apple watch but these will be in my personal bag.

- Wireless power bank – link
- Portable Apple Watch charger – link (not the exact one but something similar as I got mine from a local online seller)
Here’s my toiletry pouch:

I ordered this toiletry pouch from Aliexpress and it came with the option to have it monogrammed. It’s actually two sided with one side being deeper than the other. Most of my toiletries are the main side (the one you see here) and I have my contacts and hair ties in the thinner side.
The name of the store is CNGRANDBAG and I actually got a few things from them all of which I had monogrammed. They were were pretty fast in their delivery and the quality of the product is really good. They have a variety of things available in their store. Here’s the link – CNGRANDBAG
Here’s what’s in my toiletry pouch:

- Toothbrush and toothpaste – Oral B toothbrush and Sensodyne toothpaste
- Hairbrush – Tangle Teezer
- Body wash, Shampoo and Conditioner – I’m using tubes from Muji. My shampoo and conditioner are from Function of Beauty while the body wash is Dove (lavender)
- Aloe Vera gel – in case I get a sun burn
- Facial cleanser and facial cream – Aprilskin Real Carrotene Foam Cleaner (link) and Aprilskin Real Carroteen Blemish Clear Cream (link)
- Serums – I have three different ones for different purposes – Aprilskin Real Carrotene Blemish Clear Serum (link), Aprilskin Vitamin ACE Brightening Serum (link) and Aprilskin Collagen Peptide Plumping Serum (link)
- Contact lens – Acuvue Moist Dailies (I have different degrees for each eye)
- Supergoop Matte Screen sunscreen in a travel size – link
- Hair ties and a scrunchie
- Toner pads – Aprilskin Real Carrotene Blemish Clear Vita Pad (link)
- Cleansing Balm – Aprilskin Carrotene Hydromelt Cleansing Balm (link)
- A mini spatula for my cleansing balm
I recently switched my skincare to Aprilskin and I’m loving it.
