Didn’t realise it’s been so long since my last post. I’ve been wanting to blog but then I’ve been busy with work and Korean classes and whatnot that I never got round to it but I’m going to make an effort to try to blog at least once a week, even if it’s just to talk about something I learnt in Korean class lol.
I’ve actually got a bunch of things to blog about so I’ll sort of summarize things here and blog more about stuff later.
Project Life – So I seriously flaked out on my PL for last year. Gave up after like the third month. It was just too much for me to try and figure out what do to in the double spread when most of my week consists of mundane stuff like going to work lol. I’ve been thinking about if I should try again this year and if so, how. My bestie – shout out to my BFF – suggested that I try again (seeing as I had a craft room and all the PL “trimmings” but maybe scale it down given that I like to do mini albums for my trips, so I’ve come up with a new game plan. Instead of doing a double spread, I’ll just do one. If I had a lot of stuff going on, I could go with inserts or another single spread. I’ve been sort of busy doing a bunch of other stuff that I haven’t gotten round to starting but I’m going to start soon and I think with the “slimmed” down version I’m planning, I should be able to catch up pretty quickly. More to come on this.
Korean Classes – I just completed my Basic Level 3 course last week, scored 80/100 for my level test and I’ll be starting Basic Level 4 this Saturday. There are 4 levels for Basic so once I’m done with this, it’s on to intermediate! I’m not proficient yet but I do find that when I watch Korean shows, I understand quite a bit more of what’s being said without the use of the English subs.
Travel – since my last post, I’ve gone on two trips. Went to Bangkok last August for 3 days/2 nights. It was my firm’s annual trip so I probably won’t blog much about it. In January, I went to Hong Kong with a gang of friends for 5 days/4 nights so look out for posts about that trip.
Why do you have to PL weekly? I converted to monthly this year and I’m finding it easier and far less stressful! But in the end, who cares how you do it as long as you get stuff documented. 🙂
Monthly sounds like a good idea but I think I might end up doing four spreads per month which basically works out to be a spread a week lol
